| Main Body | This three-day course has been designed to ensure wellsite supervisors and prime contractors are aware of their responsibilities and roles with respect to health and safety at the wellsite. Key legislated rules and industry practices for Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan will be discussed and are summarized in an index with references so that the wellsite supervisor/prime contractor can research further details as needed. Responsibilities for health and safety legislation, health and safety program elements, supervisors role, hazard identification, risk assessment and control, inspections, incident investigation, emergency response and leadership skills will be covered in the three-day course.
